We believe every child deserves the opportunity to engage, learn and thrive. Central to our mahi is the belief that the earlier a child can fully engage in their educational journey, the more likely they are to remain confident learners, and the earlier we can remove the barriers standing between tamariki and their education, the greater their opportunity to become confident, connected learners.

That’s why we’re unapologetically passionate about primary and intermediate education, working alongside schools, whānau and communities to help give tamariki the strongest possible start.

Painga simply means ‘well-being’, so nurturing the well-being of our schools and their communities sits at the heart of who we are.
 
Our core work has been building vision and hearing systems that support tamariki throughout their educational journey.
 
We’re continually learning, evolving and improving the way we work, developing screening, diagnostic audiology and optometry pathways that respond to the real needs of tamariki, whānau and schools.
